“Secrets of Sleep” Event at Lane Crawford

Sunday Bedding is a Singaporean bedding brand with roots in Hong Kong. It wanted to raise its profile in Hong Kong by putting on a sleep talk for around 30 Liv Magazine readers.

The Liv Media team organised Nathan Solia of EPT to come and give an informational talk about sleep health and hygiene, offering tips on how to get a better quality night’s sleep.

Then Alex, co-founder of Sunday Bedding, guided us through the different fabrics on offer at Sunday Bedding, as well as the pros and cons on each type of material, from bamboo to French linen.


An Evening of Wellness at the Cordis Hotel

Cordis, Hong Kong has an excellent wellness offering and wanted to showcase it to our readers. We came up with the idea of a wellness evening, where readers could get a half-day access to the hotel’s pool and fitness facilities. The event would culminate in a Piloxing class.

Liv Media put together a rundown, sourced instructors, drove signups to the event, designed collaterals and backdrops, created a premium goodie bag and featured the event in the following month’s issue of Liv.

The event was sold-out and all the guests had a great time. Many returned to the hotel later to try the spa, day pass and wellness offerings.


An Educational Skincare Evening with Environ

South African skincare brand Environ is a highly effective skincare brand that wanted to raise its profile in Hong Kong.

Created by a cosmetic surgeon, Environ has a wealth of scientific knowledge behind it, and so Liv came up with the idea of an educational evening to teach readers about the importance of Vitamin A and other key ingredients in keeping your skin in its best possible condition.

The event took place at The Hive, and was well attended by Liv readers. We also arranged wine and refreshments to keep guests fed during the event.

Environ set up a point of sale on the night, and guests also purchased products from them. Guests also went home with a generous goodie bag filled with samples to familiarise them with the brand.


“Wellness Discovery” Evening with FWD Insurance

FWD Insurance wanted to bring Liv readers to House 1881 to discover this unique, historical venue in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. We came up with the idea of a “Wellness Discovery” aromatherapy workshop, facilitated by experts from Aromatherapy Associates.

The event was held at Stable Bar. Readers learned more about various oil blends: Revive, Support Breathe, Inner Strength, Destress Muscle and Support Equilibrium.

After the workshops, every guest enjoyed a lavender mocktail from the Stable Bar’s mixologists and took home a premium goodie bag from Aromatherapy Associates.


World Sleep Day at Lane Crawford

In celebration of World Sleep Day, Lane Crawford engaged Liv to invite readers to the launch of Shleep, a luxury merino wool bedding and lifestyle brand.

Guests listened to a talk by Sleep HQ founder Kate Bridle about how to improve one’s sleep quality. There was also a workshop by Aromatherapy Associates, as well as healthy, sleep- inducing refreshments.

The event was fully subscribed within a few hours, with the final RSVP list more than double what was requested from the client

Many readers were interested in purchasing the bedding after the talk, with several strong sales leads generated by the event


Base Camp Sessions at Kerry Hotel

Liv Media Limited conceived, created and executed an event series, Base Camp Sessions for Kerry Hotel.

The events consisted of a Movement class on March 13, and a Hula-hoop class on April 10. For a nominal price of $150, guests were given access to Base Camp Kerry Sport, a 60-minute exercise class, canapés, healthy juices, and a goodie bag worth more than $500.

The event was a huge success. Both sold out weeks in advance and we received excellent feedback from attendees.

The event was fantastic value for Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong. The hotel received more than $95,000 in advertising inventory, editorial and event servicing, which in total yielded more than 180,000 impressions for the brand.


Affirmations Shopping Night with Monica Vinader

On November 7, Liv Media invited 40 readers to Monica Vinader’s IFC store for an exclusive shopping night. Guests were treated to an exclusive 30 percent off all items, as well as champagne and canapes.

Liv Media also conceived and organized an “affirmations workshop” with wellness influencer Dee Cheung to give the event a unique wellness twist.

Liv also put together luxury goodie bags for guests to take home, with premium brands that aligned well with Monica Vinader.

The event was fully subscribed within 24 hours, and Liv readers generated more than HK$70,000 in sales for Monica Vinader over the two-hour event.
