Sarah Fung

An editor and journalist by training, Sarah Fung has worked in the Hong Kong media industry since 2006. Starting as a junior reporter at the popular weekly HK Magazine, she worked across various disciplines at the organisation and became the magazine’s Managing Editor at the age of 27.

After leaving HK Magazine, which was by then owned by the South China Morning Post, Sarah founded Liv Media in October 2015. Her vision was to create a city magazine that connected all aspects of health and wellness in a beautiful, aspirational and fun magazine packed with gorgeous imagery and practical tips on how to live healthy in Hong Kong. Through her leadership, Liv has become Hong Kong’s most popular resource for wellbeing and lifestyle.

Sarah is a seasoned editor, publisher and content creator. She has worked many channels, including print, digital, EDM and social media, and is known for her lively, clear, engaging and versatile writing style.

“Stay Home, Stay Well” with Asia Miles

Cathay Pacific’s Rewards program hired Liv to strategise a social media campaign, showing people creative ways to both earn and spend Miles during the COVID-19 pandemic. We came up with Stay Home, Stay Well, which offered inspiration, tips and ideas on how to make the most of your time at home to learn new skills, connect with loved ones and enjoy your newfound down time. The campaign generated more than 305,000 impressions and more than 5,300 engagements on social media.

The Liv Media team worked with Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui on a two-day photoshoot to create a new library of images for their marketing collaterals.
